Snow Policy

Metro Caring follows the Denver Public Schools’ inclement weather policy. When DPS is closed for inclement weather, Metro Caring will also be closed. If DPS has a delay (of any duration), Metro Caring will open at the regular time.

If there is snow accumulation on the day of your shopping appointment, please check our website before you come in. If we are closed, a staff member will call or email you to reschedule your appointment. If you don't hear from us within 24 hours or if you have questions, you can email appointment@MetroCaring.org or call 303-860-7200 for more information.

Employees and volunteers are encouraged to make their own informed decision about whether or not to come in on time or at all without penalty or loss of pay on a snowy day depending on their comfort and distance from Metro Caring.
