I'm an East Coaster who was lucky enough to spend time in Florissant, CO, as a kid at an outdoor summer camp. I took my first opportunity to move to Colorado back in 2016 and settled in Denver. After a meandering undergraduate career, I obtained my bachelor's in international studies with a focus on social justice just after Covid hit. I, like many others, was searching for connection at that time and dove headfirst into volunteering and digital campaign work. As the world began to return to normal, I realized that this work was where my heart lied and began graduate school at the University of Denver in the fall of 2022 to study global environmental security with a concentration in food security. I believe that food is the great connector and an ultimate sign of care, and I am honored to be in a space that can provide that for folks.

When I am not working or studying, I'm usually trying out a new recipe, spending time outside with my dog, learning new roller-skating tricks, or fully absorbed in a good book. I'm a sucker for some authentic Italian food, cool rocks, and moody gothic architecture.
