I grew up in Las Vegas, New Mexico. After obtaining my BA and MBA from New Mexico Highlands University, I moved to Washington, DC, to work for the Foreign Agricultural Service. I traveled the world and learned about developing markets for U.S. commodities in foreign markets. I moved to Denver in 1997. I worked in the Financial Services Industry for 20 years prior to working at Metro Caring. I have worked as a Volunteer, Community Connector and now as Grants Coordinator. I’ve enjoyed working with the many community members that have come into Metro Caring. I’m excited now to use my skills behind the scenes to help Metro Caring continue to thrive. When I’m not at Metro Caring, I’m working in my garden or spending time in the mountains.
