Originally from New Jersey, I moved to Denver in 2016 to attend DU where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. I’m especially interested in urban sustainability—how we can co-create a city that nourishes us, grows with us, and feels like home, recognizing that inequality undermines this. That’s why I fell in love with Metro Caring-- food brings us together, connects us to our environment and cultures, and is a powerful lever for change. I grew up spending long summer days gardening with my grandpa, so sun-warmed tomatoes, maybe not the most exciting food, plucked directly from the plant brings me joy and a sense of connection. Some of my favorite hobbies include camping, reading, and crafting way too many ultra-specific Spotify playlists.
