Originally from the Treasure Coast of Florida, I grew up taking pictures of my dogs and younger brothers, writing fictional stories, and learning to cook with my mom and grandma. I became a percussionist in middle school (after not being able to make a sound come out of the saxophone) and have since become a big marching band fan who loves teaching high school musicians. I studied music and communications at the University of Florida.
I love photography, video storytelling, and (sometimes) writing. My favorite cuisines are Cuban and Italian, and I'm absolutely obsessed with Star Wars.
Food has always been a source of love, joy, and togetherness in my life, and I believe every person has the right to healthy, nutritious, and culturally relevant food that they love. I'm honored to be a part of the Metro Caring community to work together in making this an everyday reality.
