I grew up in the lovely Barnum neighborhood and am proud to be a Colorado native. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Services from Metropolitan State University of Denver. I am currently back at MSU Denver getting a master’s in Social Work. I have a passion for giving back to my community and working with people to overcome various barriers that impact their daily lives. Metro Caring’s mission brought me to their doors because of the work I did as a case manager and seeing the barriers many of the people I served faced when it came to accessing nutritional food and resources while being houseless. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, making different crafts, and reading a good book.
