I am originally from China and my family immigrated to the U.S. when I was five. My family settled in Colorado, which I now consider home. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in English from Dickinson College and a master’s in Teaching and Learning from Johns Hopkins University. My life’s mission is to disrupt the ways in which systems have impacted access and equity for historically marginalized communities. My favorite food memories involve cooking and eating my mom’s family recipes – and I especially love making dumplings from scratch. I am an avid reader and I stay entertained by my rambunctious husky-mix, Lola.
