If you want to walk to the event with us, please meet at Metro Caring. We are walking over at 7:30am.

Join us for a day of lobbying at the Statehouse. Colorado’s legislators need to hear from you! You will walk away from this event feeling empowered and equipped to effectively voice your position on proposed legislation to your state elected officials. All are welcome!

The All Families Deserve a Chance (AFDC) coalition is an all-volunteer network of direct service providers and policy experts that educate, strategize, lobby, support, and inform the community on issues impacting low-income families.

8AM --Breakfast in House Committee Room 0112 (look for people wearing teal and AFDC buttons)
8:30AM -- Advocacy training
9:30AM -- Break into lobbying teams and meet with legislators
11:30AM -- Debrief and lunch

Dress professionally; no words or symbols on clothing. Wear the color teal if possible!

Enter the Capitol building through the entrance on the south side of the building on 14th Ave. and Sherman St.
