Whether you've been out of a job for weeks, months, or years, Metro Caring is here to help you acquire the skills you need to re-enter the workforce. With 1 in 9 jobs in Colorado being food-industry-related, we will prepare you for one of our state's most important professional fields.

Do you need an ID? A driver's license? A birth certificate? Metro Caring can provide you with a voucher for one of these documents, essential for employment, housing, healthcare, and more.
For in-state ID, driver's license, and birth certificate requests, vouchers are available at Metro Caring, Monday through Friday, 9:30am-3pm, without an appointment.
For out-of-state birth certificate requests, call 720-343-8466, Tuesdays at noon, and leave a voicemail with your name, phone number, and state of birth.
Metro Caring will help pay up to $1,000 of your utility bills if you attend a financial literacy class. In this class, you'll learn the essential tools of budgeting, reducing your expenses, and other practical tips for becoming more financially secure.
For assistance, call 720-515-9888 at 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and leave a voicemail with your name, phone number, and utility account number. If we have the resources, you will be contacted the following business day to schedule an appointment for the financial literacy class and to receive assistance.
Meet one-on-one with a trained volunteer to apply for SNAP benefits through the Colorado PEAK website. Participants who complete their appointment will receive a voucher for an extra trip to Metro Caring’s Fresh Foods Market. Call 303-350-3613 to set up an appointment.
